This Perl module provides an interface for reading Joomla! configuration variables and connecting to the Joomla! database from Perl script. Use it as a starting point for Joomla! web development in case you wish to use Perl instead of PHP. Documentation is available in CPAN.
You can normally download and install CMS::Joomla by typing:
perl -MCPAN -e "install CMS::Joomla"
or
cpan CMS::Joomla
or
ppm install CMS::Joomla
You can also download the module and follow manual install instuctions in the included README file.
