The scripts can be used by Joomla developers and integrators as programming examples on how Joomla configuration parameters and database can be accessed and manipulated from Perl.
All of these scripts have been updated to use the new CMS::Joomla Perl module. You can normally download and install it by typing:
perl -MCPAN -e "install CMS::Joomla"
or
cpan CMS::Joomla
or
ppm install CMS::Joomla
You can also download the module and follow manual install instuctions in the included README file.
